LOCAL EXPERTISE

The Unit draws on the best local minds in the field of corporate governance and business ethics.

• Daniel Malan – head of the Unit: Daniel is a senior lecturer in ethics and governance at the USB, and associate director of KPMG Sustainability Services, where he is responsible for Ethics and Integrity Services. He serves on the IOD Southern Africa’s portfolio committee on Sustainability.
   

• Thina Siwendu – visiting research fellow: Lawyer based in Durban, specialises in corporate governance. She serves as director on several boards, and she consults on corporate governance.
   

• Dr Victor Prozesky – visiting research fellow: Partner with Heidrick & Struggles, charged with the development of director development programme at the Unit.
   

• Lynn McGregor – visiting research fellow: International expert on the human aspects of corporate governance and executive leadership, and author of The Human Face of Corporate Governance. She is also a part-time director of the Special Investigations Unit in South Africa.
