LYNN McGREGOR

Lynn McGregor is an international expert and writer on the human aspects of corporate governance and executive leadership. She holds MPhil and BA (Hons) degrees.

For over twenty years her company, Convivium, has specialised in evaluating and developing board and top executive performance, and in improving the interface between different stakeholders. Central to this is enhancing the quality of decision-making and ensuring integrity at all levels.

Her book, The Human Face of Corporate Governance, is widely used by chairpersons and chief executives. She is an experienced coach, mentor and presenter, and has significantly improved the performance of many chairmen, CEOs, executive and non-executive directors. She has worked in the UK, Europe, USA and India, and has acted as advisor to a number of boards including BP.

She recently returned to South Africa and is on a semi-sabbatical to write a book. She has recently facilitated a board retreat for Debswana in Botswana and has helped the Transformation Division of the Western Cape Province design feasible implementation strategies for poverty alleviation. She is also a part-time director of the Special Investigations Unit in South Africa.
